BWA exhibition pavilion

It is located at Plac Szczepański number 3. It was built in 1965 according to the design of Krystyna Różyska. Previously, there was an Art Nouveau restaurant in this place. The remnants of the nearby Gothic house have been incorporated into the modern architecture of the Pavilion. As this property once belonged to the Drobner family, the Pavilion is commonly known as Drobnerówna or a bunker due to its external appearance. Here, in even years, exhibitions of the International Print Biennale were held. The host of the pavilion – the Bureau of Art Exhibitions – ensures their high level. It is also one of the most frequented galleries in Krakow, where you can see the works of Polish and foreign painters, graphic artists and sculptors.
