The Geothe Institute was established in Krakow in 1991 and is located at Na Groblach 20. The headquarters of the Institute is in Munich. The main goal of the institute is to promote German culture by developing cultural cooperation. There are readings, film screenings, exhibitions, concerts, conferences, etc. The institute also has a well-equipped library.
