International Summer Organ Concerts Festival

The International Summer Organ Concerts Festival has been organised since 1991 in cooperation with Krakow Academy of Music. Initially, the festival brought together organists from Poland, but over the years it gained a wide international acclaim. The festival’s guests included musicians from Poland, Europe, Japan, Canada, USA and South Africa. Every year, many esteemed performers, including professors and rectors of reputable conservatories, present the supreme organ work from the Renaissance to the present time.

The objective of the International Summer Organ Concerts Festival is the popularisation of organ music. Performances take place in the most beautiful interiors of historic Krakow temples and artists have access to antique Polish instruments. In that way, the aesthetic values of music combine harmoniously into one with architecture and works of art.
