Museum of Anthropology of the Jagiellonian University

The Museum of Anthropology of the Jagiellonian University is a non-existent museum that used to be located at the Department of Anthropology of the Jagiellonian University on Ingardena Street. The museum had a rich collection of over 2,000 copies. These were mainly gifts from outstanding Polish scientists: Izydor Kopernicki, Benedykt Dybowski and Julian Talko-Hryncewicz. You could see there, among others human skeleton from neolithic to modern.

Currently, the most interesting exhibits are presented in the Anthropological Block, which is part of the permanent exhibition entitled “Evolution of Earth and Life” located on the first floor of the building. The entire collection is stored in CEP UJ (Nature Education Center) warehouses.
