Limestone hills with hollow caves rise above the Vistula River in front of Pychowice. Legends say that Master Twardowski ran a school of magic and wizardry here. Currently, the beautiful Jurassic hills are under protection. A 34 hectares park is being created here. At the base of Skały Twardowskiego, sand deposits are exploited. Traces of a large skeleton cemetery, at least a thousand years old, have been discovered here. In the examined graves, weapons, pottery, knives, flints, coins and fabric remnants were found.
