Daun Alfred

Daun Alfred was a Polish sculptor, born in 1854 in Baranów and died in 1922 in Krakow. He graduated the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 1878 and worked in Stanisław Wyspiański workshop, and later in Vienna. Starting from 1897 he was teaching sculpture in the Academy of Fine Arts, and later worked as a teacher of drawing and modeling in a School of Industry in Krakow.

One of the streets at Wola Duchacka district in Krakow was named after Alfred Daun.
