Rostwordowski Jan

Poet, prose writer, son of Karol, born and died in Kraków. Participant of the September Campaign, he fought in Polish military formations in France and England. He took part in the Allied invasion of France. After the war, he settled in Scotland, where he studied philosophy in Edinburgh. In 1971 he returned to Kraków and lived at Saint John st. He made his debut in 1942 in the London-based “Polish, Political and Literary News”. He left 12 volumes of poetry, 9 published in England and 3 in Poland.
