The National Museum in Krakow was established in 1879. Ring of park Planty Planty is a unique green belt that encircles the Old Town of Krakow. The park was established between 1822 and 1830 in the place of medieval city walls. Fortifications surrounding the city were torn down and the area of the moat, at the time serving as city
