The Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics

The Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics is located at 152 Radzikowskiego Street in Krakow. It was established in 1955, and its creators are eminent scientists: prof. Marian Mięsowicz and prof. Henryk Niewodniczański. The Institute has a U-120 cyclotron and conducts cognitive research and work in the field of the application of physics in technology, biology, medicine, environmental protection and physical chemistry. The institute’s employees cooperate with the most important research centers in the world. The Institute also monitors radioactive contamination.
