Rostwordowski Stanisław – Odra

Farmer, chemist and brigadier general, born and died in Kraków. He studied at the Jagiellonian University, and studied philosophy and chemistry in Switzerland. He obtained his doctorate in philosophy at the Jagiellonian University. In 1914-1915 in the 2nd Cavalry Regiment in the Polish Legions, in 1915 and a year later he was an orderly officer of the Second Brigade Command, in 1916-1917 in the Military Department of the Supreme National Committee, then he graduated from the General Staff School, remained in the army and performed various functions.
Author of the books “Łuna od Warszawy”, “Agricultural Strategy” and “Saber and Pen”.
From March to August 1944, he was an inspector of the Home Army Headquarters, he was in Krakow, arrested here and on August 12, 1944 shot or tortured to the Gestapo. During the occupation, he used the pseudonym Odra
