Armed Deed Museum

The Armed Deed Museum is located in the Nowa Huta district in Krakow, on osiedle Górali 23. The beginning of the museum dates back to 1968. Its full name is the Museum of the Armed Deed of Workers of the Metallurgical Combine. Inside there is, among others, a photo gallery of 500 steelworkers-combatants, things related to the September 1939 campaign, concentration camps, resistance movement, the Polish Armed Forces and the Polish People’s Army. In front of the entrance to the museum there is an IS-2 tank, which took part in the battles near Toporów, Budziszyn and in Czechoslovakia in the 5th Heavy Tank Regiment of the Second Polish Army.
