Rudzka-Cybisowa Hanna

Painter born in Mława, died in Kraków. In the years 1917-1920 she studied painting at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts, then in 1921-1924 she continued her studies at the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts. In 1924 she left for Paris with a group of artists creating the so-called Paris Committee. In 1930, she returned to Krakow with her husband Jan Cybis, she worked at the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts, During the occupation, she was a waitress at the House of Artists in Krakow. In later years, she was a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, she also served as vice-dean, then dean. Activist of Polish Artists and Designers, she was also a co-editor of “Przegląd Artystyczny”, participated in many national and international exhibitions. Winner of many awards, including the Munich Grand Prix and diplomas, even Indian ones.
She mainly painted landscapes, still lifes and portraits
