This monument to Maksymilian Siła-Nowicki, pioneer of nature protection in Poland, is located in Krakow’s Planty Park, at the mouth of the Wilga to the Vistula. The obelisk has been established in 1898. Years later, in 1979 added a medallion with Maksymilian Siła-Nowicki image (created by Joanna Bogusz) and a commemorative plate.
