Laszczka Konstanty was a sculptor and ceramist, born in 1865 in Makowiec Dlugi near Mińsk Mazowiecki. He studied in Warsaw, Paris and Krakow. For several years he lectured at the Adademy of Fine Arts in Krakow, later he became its rector. Laszczka is the author of many busts, monuments, plaques and portrait medals. Some of his works are in the National Museum in Krakow, as well as in other Polish museums. Laszczka was also involved in political and social affairs of Poland, he acted for the Legions. He died in 1956 in Krakow. One of the streets in Wola Duchacka was named after him.
