It was located at 4 Juliusza Kossaka Square in Krakow. Once a suburban mansion, it was called Comfort. It was built by W. Kołodziej, and loe sold in 1864 to M. Zaleska, from whom J. Kossak bought it in 1869 for 15 thousand zlotys. The property consisted of 1.5 morga of garden and three houses underpinning: the main one, the right outbuilding, Grandma’s House and the left one with two workshops, laundries and pantries, as well as a house for servants and stables and 2 sheds. In 1887, part of the garden was sold for the needs of the railway, and the Grandma’s House was converted into an Art Nouveau two-story villa. The old studio, located close to Krasiński Avenue, was demolished in 1941 at the behest of the Germans who widened the avenue. Almost all Kossaks created their works in Kossakówka, it was here that Miss Kossakówny spent their youth. The manor house is still in the hands of the Kossak family, and there is a cafe there
