Korpal Aleksander

Korpal Aleksander was a painter, sculptor and teacher. He was the son of Michał Stefan and was born in 1881. He received his first education from his father, then he attended the Higher Industrial School, and then the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Later he studied in Vienna and Prague. He was a drawing teacher at schools in Leszno and Poznań. He was the author of many busts, plaques and medallions. He died in 1960.
